The Spring Nationals Ferret
Competition will be held at the York Expo Center in York, PA. Local
ferrets, as well as ferrets from all over the country, will be competing for
top honors at the show.
Sponsored by the American
Ferret Association, Inc. (AFA), the Spring Nationals competition will be open
to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on April 11, 2026. Championship, premier
and specialty classes will be judged, and pre-registration is required for
participation. Only pre-registered ferrets will be allowed in the hall.
Ferret rescue organizations
will be present at the show. In addition, major ferret vendors and clubs from
across the country will be selling items especially designed for ferrets and
their owners. The show will provide ferret fanciers an excellent opportunity
to purchase ferret-specific items for their own ferrets or for those of
friends.
The Ferret Competition will
also meet the needs of those interested in adding a ferret to their family or
who are simply curious about these increasingly popular small mammals.
Free educational materials will be available for both the new and experienced
ferret owner.
The Spring Nationals Ferret
Competition will be held at the York Expo Center Horticulture Hall, located at
334 Carlisle Ave. Donation fees for admission to the show are $5.00
for persons 16 and older, $2.00 for children from 7 to 15; and free for
children under 7. For more information, or directions to the York
Expo Center, contact the AFA toll-free at 1-888-FERRET-1.
