What can I expect when I arrive for a show, concert, or event?
All guests will be asked to remove certain metal items from their pockets before walking through a metal detector. As you walk through the detector, screening officers will also check any bag you have brought with you for prohibited items. If the metal detector alarms, you will be asked to check for items you may have forgotten to remove before you entered the metal detector. You will also be asked to go through a secondary screening.
Can I expect a big delay before I will be able to enter the venue?
We are working hard to ensure that our entrance screening procedures are fast and effective. While we do not believe these machines will cause a significant delay, we do encourage you to arrive early to your scheduled show or performance to ensure you have plenty of time to arrive, go through screening, find your seats and enjoy the opening act or preshow entertainment. You can help us make this process faster and more efficient by minimizing the items that you bring with you to the show and having your mobile or printed tickets out & ready for scanning as you enter.
How does General Admission work?
If you have a PIT ticket, you will enter and proceed to the standing room only PIT where an usher will check your ticket and give you a wristband so you can go back & forth from the PIT as you choose.
If you have an ADA ticket, you will proceed to one of our ADA platforms where an usher will check your ticket then allow you proceed on to the platform.
If you buy a regular GA (seated ticket) you will enter then proceed to find an available seat in our Plaza, Box or Grandstand levels.
All areas are first come, first serve.
Can I bring in a wheelchair?
Of course! Guests who are unable to walk through the metal detector, including guests in wheelchairs, will be screened at the ADA entrance with our secondary screening methods. Wheelchairs may not be taken onto the track.
Do you offer wheelchair and/or mobility scooter rentals?
Yes! Stillwater Mobility will be located on Cattle Drive near the First Aid/Firehouse to provide wagon, stroller, wheelchair and mobility scooter rentals. Wagons, Single Toddler Strollers and Wagons rent for $15/day. Mobility Scooter rentals range from $25-$65 depending on the amount of hours needed. You must fill out a rental contract and show a valid form of ID.
A courtesy cart will also be provided from all gates to take you to Stillwater Mobility. Once onsite, please call 570-399-5855 for pickup.
What is your bag policy?
Oversized bags are not allowed unless medically necessary, such as medical devices, diabetic supplies, diaper bags, etc. All bags are subject to search. Please plan to secure luggage, large backpacks, and other oversized items at your home or in your vehicle. Please use the ADA entrance when bringing a medical bag.
Why are you using metal detectors?
We are constantly evaluating our security policies and procedures to ensure we are fostering a safe environment for our guests that is in line with security standards at venues across the country, and enhanced entry screenings are a part of those procedures.
Are metal detectors safe to walk through?
Yes, these types of machines are regarded as safe to walk through. The electromagnetic field these devices emit is weak and comparable to the field emitted by the Earth. However, if you are not comfortable with this screening at any point, you can request a hand wand or pat down screening.
Does my child need screened?
Everyone entering the venue must be screened. Infants and toddlers who are unable to walk through the machines on their own may be carried through by a parent or guardian.
Are animals allowed?
Please leave pets at home, pets are not permitted on the Fairgrounds. Do not leave them in your vehicle.
Emotional Support animals are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. ONLY SERVICE animals as defined by the Americans with Disability Act are allowed on our facilities.
