Mitchell Brown of Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, son of Randy and Tammy Brown, is a recent graduate of Dallastown Area High School who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to agriculture, leadership, service, and his community.
Mitchell has been an active member of York County 4-H since 2015, participating in the Swine Club, Dairy Beef Club, Teen Council, Senior Exchange, and Meats Judging Team. He has served as President of the Dairy Beef Club and has given back to younger 4-H members as a counselor at both county and regional camps. His dedication to 4-H and leadership earned him the prestigious Diamond Clover Award in 2025.
Beyond 4-H, Mitchell earned the rank of Eagle Scout and has been actively involved in his school and community through Dallastown Mini-THON and the York Township Feasibility Committee. He has also gained valuable hands-on agricultural experience working for local farms and agricultural businesses, developing practical skills and experience that have helped shape his future goals.
This fall, Mitchell will continue his education at Iowa State University, where he will pursue a degree in Agricultural Engineering. His strong work ethic, leadership, service to others, and dedication to the future of agriculture exemplify the qualities celebrated by the York State Fair Outstanding Youth Award.
