Attending the York State Fair doesn’t have to break the budget!
We’ve got you covered with 8 special promo days for free or discounted entry throughout the Fair. Just a few highlights include Orrstown Bank $1 Day on the first Friday, where everyone gets in for just $1, and $2 Tuesday, when admission is only $2. Stop by on Weis Wednesday for FREE admission with your Weis Rewards Card, and wrap up the Fair on the final Sunday with Carload Day—just $25 gets everyone in your vehicle through the gate and includes parking.
Once you’re inside the Fairgrounds, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your day. Start by enjoying our 7 FREE attractions, exploring our Old Main & Horticultural Hall exhibit buildings filled with produce, floral arrangements, canned & baked goods and craft projects, and visiting the Ag Education Center to learn more about agriculture in our community. Catch daily demonstrations and educational talks presented by the York County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit.

Step into the UPMC Arena and experience farm life up close! Meet a wide variety of animals, from gentle giants to barnyard favorites. Don’t miss the Rutter’s Birthing Center, where adorable newborn calves and piglets steal the show—and be sure to catch the excitement of daily livestock shows happening throughout the day! After that, hop on over to the John & Paige Smith Center next door and get up close with an adorable variety of animals—rabbits, turkeys, ducks, chickens, geese and more! It’s the perfect stop for animal lovers of all ages.

Take advantage of bargain bites from our food vendors—perfect for satisfying your cravings without stretching your wallet. Plus, don’t miss the popular $2 Tuesday food specials.
Do you love the thrill of the rides?
Our midway provider, Strates Shows, offers an advanced purchase combo package where $25 gets you one admission pass and one ride wristband, valid Monday through Thursday. On Orrstown Bank $1 Day, rides are just $1 each, and $2 Tuesday features $2 rides. There’s also a special on Pre-School Pals Day, with $15 Kiddie Kingdom ride bands available from 11am–3pm.
