Ikonic Glassblowing Workshop: Melt It, Make It, Take It

When you book a glassblowing workshop with Ikonic Glass, here’s what to expect:
🎟 Step 1: Reserve Your Spot
Book your 20-minute workshop session online.
Each time slot accommodates up to 8 participants, and spots fill quickly — early registration is highly recommended!
Workshops are open to ages 10 and up (Parental supervision required).
📍 Step 2: Plan Your Arrival
Plan ahead for parking and locating our mobile studio at the Fairgrounds.
Parking at the Fair can take time. Please plan accordingly —late arrivals may lose participation time. We recommend arriving at least 15–20 minutes early — late arrivals may lose participation time.
Safety first!
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Avoid baggy sleeves or loose clothing
- Long hair must be tied back
- Participants must be sober
🔥 Step 3: Check In & Choose Your Design
Upon arrival:
- Check in with our team
- Sign a quick waiver
- Choose your pendant design from 10 awesome options:
Leaf, Heart, Pickle, Twisty, Lollipop, Sun, Moon, Turtle, Teardrop, or Medallion
- Pick your favorite glass colors to make it yours!
🔥 Important Note:
At Ikonic Glass, we work with solid glass for a safer and more hands-on experience. Instead of actually blowing the glass, you'll melt, twist, stretch, and shape your molten glass using fire, tools, and your own hands!
🧤 Step 4: Melt, Shape, Create Your Piece
After a brief safety demo, you’ll team up with an Ikonic artist (2 students per instructor).
We’ll guide you step-by-step through:
- Melting your chosen colored glass
- Mixing and shaping it into your selected design
- Creating a one-of-a-kind pendant to wear and treasure
⏳ Step 5: Cool Down & Chill
Your new piece needs about 20 minutes to cool properly after shaping.
While you wait, feel free to explore the fair, grab a snack, or just soak up the good vibes!
🎁 Step 6: Pick Up Your Piece
Come back to pick up your finished pendant — handmade by you, ready to wear and show off with pride.
